CURBSIDE SERVICE FOR SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH IS DEPENDENT ON AIR QUALITY AND WEATHER. PLEASE CHECK BACK HERE OR ON OUR WEBSITE BEFORE HEADING OUT TO PICK UP HOLDS. IF AIR QUAILITY GOES INTO THE UNHEALTHLY RANGE AT ANY TIME WE MUST CLOSE DOWN ACCORDING TO OREGON OHSA GUIDELINES. IF THERE IS LIGHTNING IN THE AREA WE WILL CLOSE AS WELL.
Be prepared for long lines today, especially between 10-11am and 1-1:45pm. We are holding all items until Monday, September 28th so if you can't make it today or the lines are too long, you can come another time.
Starting September 8, you can pick up your holds and return items during our holds pickup hours. We will no longer be scheduling appointments.
After you receive a notification that your holds are ready for pickup, please visit us curbside during any of our holds pickup hours. We will keep your holds on our shelves for 10 days after they arrive. Please bring your library card or photo ID.
Picking up your holds:
1. Please bring your library card or ID for checkout.
2. If you are picking up holds for other library card users, please bring their library card or account number.
3. Please wear a mask when picking up holds and follow physical distancing guidelines. Staff will be wearing masks for your protection.
4. When you arrive, follow signage to pick up your holds. If you come by vehicle, park first. If all staff are busy, please stand in line 6 feet apart.
Starting September 10, our book drops will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for returns. If you have items that are too large to fit in the book drop (Library of Things, oversize Board Games, etc.), please return those during our holds pickup hours. Returned items will be quarantined for at least 5 days before check in. No fines will be assessed until further notice.
