Each month we cover a different topic. In August we’ll meet in-person (no need to register) to discuss Short Stories. More details will be shared 5 days before the meeting date.

Member Katherine Q. will lead this month's discussion on Short Stories. Before the meeting please think about some of your favorite short stories (and not just the classics, but contemporaries as well) and what makes them stand out -- is it an experimental structure, for example, or an innovative setting, or richly conceived characters that make us care about them in a very compressed space?
