Blackout poetry is a type of found poetry that uses preexisting text to create something new using portions of the original text and crossing out or covering other parts to make a poem. Create your own blackout poetry using book pages and craft supplies at the library in celebration of National Poetry Month this April! Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own "found" text if you have something you'd like to work with. For tweens and teens ages 10 to 18 only.
