Flex your gardening skills this spring! West Slope Library will be holding a seed exchange from March 1st - April 30th, sponsored by the Portland Nursery and the Friends of West Slope Library.

We are partnering with the Portland Nursery who generously donated seeds and seed calendars!

How to participate:

• Browse the donated seeds at the library, located to your right as you walk in the building.
• Read our posted guidelines on what type of seeds we're hoping you'll share.
• If you have seeds to share, fill a seed envelope to leave for a fellow gardener.
• Learn about gardening by taking resources from the Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation, or see our list of gardening books for readers of all ages.
• Pick up a painted flower pot take and make kit to get started!
