Join us in the Rogers Room from 6:00 - 7:30 on Wednesday, November 5th, for a free screening of the 2024 documentary, No Place to Grow Old, a film that captures a growing crisis unfolding quietly across America: the increasing number of seniors facing homelessness. Set in Portland, Oregon, this poignant documentary follows the lives of three older adults navigating the harsh realities of life without a home. Through their stories of hardship and resilience, the film offers an intimate portrayal of the challenges they face, while also shining a light on the systemic issues contributing to their plight.
After the viewing, representatives from Open Door, Project Homeless Connect, and the Forest Grove Foundation will participate in a panel discussion to explore the topic of homelessness in Washington County and its impact on older populations the region.
