Events › This is Vietnamese Portland Archive Day

We welcome you to join us for a Community Archive Day, a community collecting event including a presentation on preserving family history and an invitation to bring any materials that you want help preserving. This is an opportunity to learn about archival best practices so that community members can better preserve their history. All are welcome. 

In addition to learning about archiving, we invite you to help preserve and celebrate the rich history of the Vietnamese community in Portland. Do you have material from a Vietnamese organization, business or family in Portland—ledgers, letters, minutes, photographs, etc.? If so, Vietnamese Portland's team invites you to bring them to the library on Archive Day for review.
