Opinion

From Library Staff

Like Stephanie O'Dea's first slow-cooker cookbook, this contains great recipes to make when I don't have time or money to invest in elaborate meals. The mulligatawny recipe is a favorite!

Simple and tasty slow-cooker recipes that are ranked according to the cost of the dish, and the type of menu item.

She's a real person! I have made recipes from her website, I didn't get a chance to try from the book yet.

i began following Ms.O'Dea's blog when she chronicled a year of using her crockpot everyday. I appreciated her candor about what did and didn't work. If you're like me and consider the slowcooker an important appliance in your kitchen, this is the book for you! Oh yeah, not a single recipe calls for "cream of anything" soup!
