In book three, we begin to see Alex and Conner become more mature- kind of like a coming of age story. I grew up with this series, each year I got to see the twins grow up too. I like how human they are; they make mistakes but are brave, kind and funny. Of course, the plot is amazing. Looking back, after reading the entire series, this book is where Chris Colfer really begins to create a series-not just a stand alone book. While the first and second book do connect, I feel as though Chris Colfer added more complexity in plot and imagery than the first two. I recommend this to anyone who has read the Wishing Spell and Enchantress Returns. 5 out of 5

I liked this CD. It is not appropriate for children. It is well read. There is some violence. It is a little sexual. If you like Grimm Tales, you might like this fictional story.

This book was a really interesting because of all the problems the main characters faced it also had a lot of action in it to engage the reader finally I loved that the audiobook version was so easier to follow

The past meets the future when a Grand Armee from Napoleon's era is stuck in a time vortex for over 200 years. When the portal opens again, the armee shows up in the 'Land of Stories' to conquer all the kingdoms, including Fairyland. All the familiar characters are here once again--everyone pulls together to save the 'Land of Stories.' An exciting read, these just keep getting better and better! Ends with a real cliff hanger too.
