With his companion, "the lovely Margo Lane" (played by Agnes Moorehead) the Shadow confronted mad scientists, corrupt politicians, evil doctors and a host of demented criminals. The series was one of the most popular in the history of radio, thrilling and chilling the airwaves until December 26, 1954.
