Amusing. In places very amusing. I usually like to look at the blurb on the back of the book, after reading, to see how accurate it is. As usual, not really. The referenced book is a running joke through the novel, but not as described. There is a sword fight, babies, marriage, Darcy is shot. A calm and gentle read. Not the very best, but OK.
