Brooklyn has always been a little obsessed with food, but it was her sister Savannah who became a chef, graduating from the prestigious Cordon Bleu school in Paris. When Baxter invites the old gang to participate in his new restaurant's gala opening in San Francisco, Savannah asks Brooklyn to restore a tattered cookbook as a present for him. Shortly after receiving the gift, Baxter is found dead, with Savannah kneeling over him, bloody knife in hand, and the rare cookbook has disappeared.

I usually like this series, but listening to it with the audiobook almost made me quit. The reader had different voices for every character...but not sure why one sister talked normally and the other sister talked with a Marlilyn Monroe Southern accent. All the British characters had fake, never before heard accents. The plot may have been ok but the voices were sooo distracting.

The reader of this audio book tried too hard to do different voices for each character. Might have been better off just reading the book.
