Some young ladies marry for money and social standing, a few lucky ones marry for love, but Tiffany Warren is marrying to end a feud. Honoring her mother's wishes, Tiffany reluctantly travels west to meet her estranged father and his enemy's eldest son, rancher Hunter Callahan. Once the Warrens and the Callahans are united by marriage, both clans will stop squabbling over disputed land. But in the chaos of a train robbery, Tiffany seizes a golden opportunity. By assuming the identity of her father's new housekeeper, she can live with the father she never knew and assess his true character, as well as that of the neighboring cowboy to whom she is betrothed.

Agree too much narration and not enough romance although the characters are very strong. Could have been much better but this Author can be boring and long drawn out if she doesn't add more romance in her books. skip it.

Boring romance novel by Johanna Lindsey. Not that much lovemaking as much as there is talking. And the main character, Tiffany/ Jennifer is stupid. If I was her fiance, I would be so angry that she lied and pretended to be a housekeeper named Jennifer instead of introducing herself to Hunter Callahan, (her fiance) and saying,"Hi, my name is Tiffany. I'm you're fiance. And we need to get married". Romance author Johanna Lindsey was once the best-selling authors of readers and this novel called, One Heart to Win is NOT her best.

Johanna Lindsey is my favorite romance writer but this was not my favorite book of hers. It was still well written, funny, with interesting characters but a little on the save (bland) side. For her thats saying a lot.

This is her 50th book. I've read all of Johanna's books..I absolutely loved the first 20 or so...great dialogue that made me laugh out loud, great sexual tension, interesting stories etc etc..then somewhere in there it feels like her books were either being written by a ghost writer or she was just popping them out to fulfill a contract.
I found 'One Heart to Win' very slow and boring and the whole premise is predictable right from the start.....maybe it's just time for me to give up on Johanna Lindsey.

I hope you enjoy it more than I did!
