the story evolves around sordid sex scenes and unredeemable characters. It is a tough read but I had faith in the author and by the end of the book I was glad I persevered. There are some unpredictable twists which the observant reader might catch early in the novel, and to that end the author is fair to her readers and gives only the very observant a chance to predict the unusual outcome. In the end a satisfying read but it is difficult to get by the insalubrious principles who dominate the story.
