The final book in the Transmetropolitan series is classic material. Some of the humour from the early issues makes its way into the finale. It is interesting that both Spider Jerusalem and President Callahan both have some manner of brain damage; Spider from drugs and a terminal disease, the President from psychosis. In facing off two characters with similar problems Warren Ellis seems to be saying something about the choices one makes. Spider chose to inform readers so they could control their own lives, while Callahan chose to hide information and instead attempt to control everyone. A good solid series that ends satisfactorily. Recommended for mature readers.

Warren Ellis's best work while you may not agree with his personal or political views i love how he presents them in this wonder series
