This is such a good book!! Classic Pella and Peterson. A great first book in the series; be warned, the back-cover plot doesn’t all resolve in this book, but will continue in the next book(s).

The characters are interesting and well fleshed out. I particularly like Jordana, and am curious to see where her story goes. She’s so feisty, it’s fantastic! I also liked a line near the end where she envisioned her future and felt she’d be settling if she got married at that point. Being in a similar life place, I could really relate to that and may have raised a fist in cheer.
