Add a CommentA wonderful story of Ron McNair's (astronaut) determination to right a wrong. Ron wants to check out library books as a young black child in South Carolina, but the rules won't allow him to because he is black. Ron persists and gets his own library card. Tate’s bright and expressive illustrations are a major plus in this wonderful tale about a boy who would one day become a famous astronaut.
