"A missing girl. A tormented witness. A web of lies. And someone is watching... When Ella Longfield overhears two attractive young men flirting with teenage girls on a train, she thinks nothing of it - until she realises they are fresh out of prison and her maternal instinct is put on high alert. But just as she's decided to call for help, something stops her. The next day, she wakes up to the news that one of the girls - beautiful, green-eyed Anna Ballard - has disappeared. A year later, Anna is still missing. Ella is wracked with guilt over what she failed to do, and she's not the only one who can't forget. Someone is sending her threatening letters - letters that make her fear for her life. Then an anniversary appeal reveals that Anna's friends and family might have something to hide. Anna's best friend, Sarah, hasn't been telling the whole truth about what really happened that night - and her parents have been keeping secrets of their own. Someone knows where Anna is - and they're not telling. But they are watching Ells." -- back cover

This is the first time I have read any of Teresa Driscolls books and it won't be the last. I loved this book. There was no putting it down. Very interesting story line and characters. Highly recommend.

This was a well written page turner. So refreshing not to have my time wasted with boring descriptions every time we were introduced to a new setting, character, weather pattern. Brava and thank you to the author! Why aren't more of her books available OPL?

First, the title grabbed my interest, it sounded like it would really be a good read. I could hardly put it down, all the little twists and turns made for a great read. I love finding new authors in this genre which is my favorite. I hope Teresa Driscoll keeps on writing for many years.

Wow! This is a book you do not want to put down until you get to the ending. The chapters are short as you jump between the characters without it being confusing. This is about a woman named Ella who sees two young teenager girls who flirt and make plans with two men who just got out of jail. She wants to do something but ends up not saying anything and suffers with guilt when she hears about one of the girls' disappearance. Then Ella starts to get nasty postcards from someone who claims s/he is watching her. The ending has some BIG twists and it took me by surprise because I didn't see those things coming. If you are a fan of authors like Ruth Ware and Paula Hawkins, this thriller book is for you!

I enjoyed reading this book because it had a different story line than most novels. The characters are well developed and strong. Twist and turns through out the book. Makes an interesting read. The last twist is a doozy you will never guess who the watcher is going to be.
