The Heffleys are going on a tropical vacation over the Christmas holiday. The kids weren’t very excited because this vacation meant no presents for them under the tree, but their parents were looking forward to some rest and relaxation. Their trip is delayed when harsh weather sets in and the planes are running behind schedule. Finally, the family can board the plane and jet off to the warm tropics. Once they check into the resort, the Heffleys begin to enjoy their vacation paradise. During their trip they experience some stomach issues, scary creatures in their room and a few other things that threaten their fun. The family soon discovers that this vacation isn’t all they thought it would be and they want to go home.
Greg's trip went very bad. NOTE: Don't go to tropical places for a vacation

Add a CommentThe cold weather and the build-up of stress are enough to convince the Heffleys to make their getaway to a tropical island resort for a few days. But Greg and his family soon run into troubles such as ugly critters, spiders, sun poisoning. Could these troubles ruin the Heffleys' vacation? This story was very entertaining because of its unusual but pleasant setting on a tropical island. The numerous problems the Heffleys face throughout their vacation contribute to the humor incorporated into the story. Overall, The Getaway is a great and humorous book and has a unique setting, making it a great read.
The 10th book of the Diary of A Wimpy Kid is a fun book if you want to read on a road trip. It's a bit long but there’s illustrations in it and there's not much complicated words. Greg Heffley and his family decided to go to a tropical island resort. Instead of celebrating Christmas, the family celebrates Christmas by basking in the sun and hot weather. Although a bunch of issues pop up on their way to the resort and at the resort. Food poisoning, sun burns, and family issues possibly ruin their Christmas tropical trip. This book is filled with absolute honor and relatable content.
The diary of a wimpy kid series is the best book series I have ever read. In one way or another all the books connect to each other which make them very interesting to read and the thing is that you don’t need to read one ☝️ book to be caught up with the others. Even though the books 📚 go off topic a lot, they always seem to come back to one thing and always have a message .
Why is the engine not under the wing??
I have read all of the books from this series, and I have never been dissappointed. Jeff Kinny is honestly an amazing writer and always has something new ,yet interesting to write about in all of the series. Surey I really recommend this book because it was awsome.
