I’ve always liked books with pictures best, and this illustrated edition of the Hidden Life of Trees is one of my favorites. The science behind this book is as breathtaking as the beautiful photographs illuminating its pages. Did you know that trees communicate with one another through fungal pathways, and that trees collectively make decisions about their procreation and growth? And that’s just the start of it. This book is truly a delight, and very likely to change the way you look at the trees in your neighborhood!
