I have enjoyed reading the Holly Barker books, but this one took a severe turn for the worse. Woods depicted Barker as a dimwit who has no self control and little or no judgment. To rub salt in the wounds, Stone negotiates contracts for him and Holly, where all of the details are identical except that he gets three times the compensation that she does. UGH! There is already too much sexism and misogyny in the world without me inviting it into my life through a fictional story. I will read no more of this series, and no more of this author. UGH!
