Wicked is the story of two witches of Oz. As young women, they meet at Shiz University in Oz and forge an unlikely but profound friendship. One is misunderstood because of her green skin color; the other is driven by a need to be popular. Following an encounter with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their friendship reaches a crossroads, and their lives take very different paths. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfill their destinies as Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
